Your Complimentary Consultation During your first visit to Vistaeyes you will meet a number of our caring staff. Firstly you will have the opportunity to discuss laser treatment with one of our Vistaeyes consultants. At this time you will be given an explanation of how your eyes work and we will show you a presentation on the various vision correction procedures we perform at Vistaeyes. We also fully discuss the benefits and risks of laser eye surgery during the consultation and in our Informed Consent video. Our consultants are all highly experienced and very sensitive to your individual concerns and questions. Please feel free to ask any of our staff as many questions as you like.
Your Vistaeyes consultant will then introduce you to one of our orthoptists or optometrists who will then assess your eyes for surgery. The testing will include a full ophthalmic examination, computerised vision assessment and sophisticated corneal mapping to determine your ocular health and suitability for laser correction. All testing is pain free and complimentary. This is a perfect opportunity for you to gain a full understanding of your vision, your suitability for Vistaeyes and your options.
On completion of your testing your consultant will see you again. If you wish to book a procedure, your consultant will provide you with a choice of payment options and available dates. If you would like some time before making a decision your consultant will be available to help you in the future. As this is an important decision for you, you must feel completely confident before proceeding with surgery.
At your first visit we expect you will be with us for approximately 90 minutes. During this time make yourself comfortable, relax and enjoy Vistaeyes' many complimentary facilities to make you feel at home.
