The latest in laser eye surgery technology
Technology is a vital part of laser eye surgery and that’s why Vista Eyes has invested in the latest, safe, proven and effective technology.
Advanced Laser Eye Surgery Technology Now Available at Vista Eyes
WaveLight® Plus (Ray Tracing technology) is now available at Vista Eyes Laser Eye Clinic.
Vista Eyes is currently the only clinic in Victoria offering access to this advanced innovation in refractive surgery. WaveLight® Plus is based on more than a decade of international research and development, grounded in mathematical principles first published over ten years ago.
Unlike traditional LASIK approaches that rely on a glasses prescription to guide the procedure, this system uses detailed internal measurements of the eye to create a 3D model—sometimes referred to as an “eyevatar”—allowing for a highly personalised treatment plan.
A powerful algorithm then simulates 2000 rays of light passing through the eye to determine the ideal corneal shape needed to focus light accurately on the retina. This process enables a tailored and data-driven approach to laser vision correction.
Our WaveLight® Refractive Suite brings together two of the most advanced lasers used in refractive surgery:
• WaveLight® FS200 Femtosecond Laser
• WaveLight® EX500 Excimer Laser
Combined with leading diagnostic imaging and eye-tracking technology, these tools help support precision, consistency, and individualised care at every step of the process.
