Procedures
At Vista Eyes, we offer a range of evidence-based procedures using advanced technology. Each treatment plan is tailored by our experienced team to suit your eyes, your health needs, and your lifestyle.
Customised LASIK
This laser eye procedure is tailored to the unique shape of your eye to improve how light focuses on the retina. It can be used to treat short-sightedness (myopia), long-sightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism.
PRK
Also called ASLA or LASEK, PRK is a type of laser eye surgery that reshapes the surface of the cornea. It can be used to treat short-sightedness (myopia), long-sightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism.
LASIK Xtra
LASIK Xtra is an additional step sometimes used alongside Customised LASIK. It combines laser treatment with corneal collagen cross-linking to help strengthen the cornea, particularly in patients with thinner or more flexible corneas.
Monovision
Monovision is a technique often used to manage presbyopia, where one eye is corrected for distance vision and the other for near vision. This approach may help reduce reliance on reading glasses for patients over 45 who experience age-related changes in near vision.
READ
READ is an advanced laser vision correction technique developed for people who rely on multifocal glasses. It aims to improve both distance and near vision, helping reduce the need for glasses in day-to-day life.
Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL)
ICL is a procedure where a thin, flexible lens is implanted inside the eye, working alongside the natural lens. It’s designed to correct short-sightedness (myopia), long-sightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, or presbyopia – especially in patients who may not be suitable for laser vision correction. The lens stays permanently in place but can be removed if needed.
Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)
RLE involves replacing the eye’s natural lens with a clear, artificial intraocular lens. This procedure is typically recommended for patients over 45 and can help correct short-sightedness (myopia), long-sightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, or presbyopia. It may be an option for those who aren’t suitable for laser vision correction or want to reduce their reliance on glasses or multifocal lenses.
Cataract Surgery
Cataract surgery involves removing the eye’s natural lens after it becomes cloudy, and replacing it with a clear, artificial intraocular lens. This helps restore clearer vision and is one of the most commonly performed and effective eye procedures worldwide.
